Club History
The Wallkill Golf Club is a town owned
golf course built in 1991 by landscape architect Steve Esposito.
This New England-style course was designed through lagoons and
around rolling terrain which meanders through heavily wooded areas
lined with hemlock, oak and shagbark hickory.
Each
hole provides a feeling of total isolation. The first two holes and
17th and 18th holes play around a large picturesque lagoon while the
rest of the course meanders through the wooded ridges throughout the
property.
We invite you to enjoy all the
amenities of this daily fee golf club, annually rated by Golf
Digest’s “places to play” as a 4 star winner. With its championship
18 hole layout and fine dining facilities you will find the Wallkill
Golf Club as a enticing choice for your next golf outing or group
event.
Since the course has opened the club
has played host to several Metropolitan Golf Association Qualifying
events and has hosted the Orange County Amateur. Also each year the
club hosts it’s annual Club Championship, a match play event which
is open to all!
