The Town of Wallkill has twelve parks and recreational areas located at:
  • Dundee Circle Park, located at the intersection of Dundee Circle and Stoneridge Rd
  • Patio Road Park, located on Patio Rd
  • Fortune Road Park, located on Woodstock Rd
  • Marlboro Commons Park, located at the intersection of Sheffield Drive and Fitzgerald Drive
  • Sarah Lane Park, located on Sarah Lane and Crystal Run Rd
  • Washington Heights Park, located between New York Ave, Ontario Rd and Rhode Island Ave
  • Circle Drive Park, located on Circle Drive
  • Washington Heights Memorial Park, located between Highland Ave Extension, Sand Station Rd and County Route 17M(North Street)
  • Stephens Avenue Park, located at the intersection of Mills Rd and Stephens Ave
  • Belmont Avenue Park, located on Belmont Ave
  • C. Hudson Thompson Memorial Park (Circleville Park) The C. Hudson Thompson Memorial Park in Circleville is the largest and has facilities for swimming, fishing, paddle boating, baseball, soccer fields and a playground.
  • Howard Drive Park, was renamed Town of Wallkill WTC Memorial Park on April 13, 2002 after Chris Kirby, Carl Asaro, Greg Atlas and Michelle Bratton, all Town of Wallkill residents who died in the September 11th World Trade Center attack.

    The Senior Boys field was named Chris Kirby Memorial Field, honoring Chris where he played in the Little League. The Major Boys field was previously named for James Shannon for his dedicated work in the Little League.

    The Town has an active recreational program open to residents of all ages, including programs such as adult softball leagues, ballroom dancing, a Senior citizens Program, Little League baseball and soccer, which each has over 400 participants. In addition, a summer program(600 attendees) is offered to children between the ages of five and thirteen.

    The Boys and Girls Club of Orange County located at Circleville Park offers free programs for children and teenagers between the ages of six and eighteen.

    A Town resident ID card can be obtained at the Town Clerk's office.
