The Town Board of the Town of Wallkill held its Reorganization
Meeting on Thursday, January 2, 2003 at the Town Hall, 600 Route
211 East. Members present were Supervisor John Ward, Councilman
John King, Councilman Eric Valentin, Councilman Charles McLean,
and Councilman Dan Depew. The meeting was opened with the Pledge
of Allegiance.
SUPERVISOR
WARD: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is a special meeting
of the Town Board and the regular Reorganization meeting of
the Town of Wallkill, which should be held during the first
few days of the year. The purpose of this meeting is to reorganize
the Town, set appointments, set salaries, and so forth.
This
is a special meeting and no other business will be conducted.
All
appointees please see the Town Clerk to be sworn in immediately
after this meeting or as soon as possible.

That in each month the second and fourth Thursday be designated
as regular Town Board Meeting nights to be held at the Town Hall,
600 Route 211 East, at 7:30 PM, and the first and third Thursday
and each Wednesday be designated as work sessions to be held at
7:30 PM, and that during the months of July and August, the second
Thursday regular meeting will be held only if necessary Town Business
is available.”
