RESOLUTIONS
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Town Board of the Town of Wallkill, that said
Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Supervisor to enter into a contract with
Mid-City Transit, Inc. of Middletown, NY for bus transportation services relative
to the operation of the Town of Wallkill Summer Camp Program 2003.

Club for the year 2003:
1. GENERAL GOLF RATES
A. Town of Wallkill Resident* rates are as follows:
1) Weekday rate: a. Regular rate: $14.00/18 holes
b. Twilight rate (after 3PM) $10.00/18 holes
2) Weekend rate: a. Regular rate: $19.00/18 holes
b. Twilight rate (after 3PM) $13.00/18 holes
B. Orange/ Sullivan County Resident* rates are as follows:
1) Weekday rate: a. Regular rate: $23.00/18 holes
b. Twilight rate (after 3PM) $14.00/18 holes

Mr. Smith; in regards to discount to Sullivan County residents at Golf Course-
the Sullivan County course does not give a discount to Orange County residents;
may want to amend fees.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wallkill will operate a Summer Camp Program during the
summer of 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Wallkill wishes to insure that said
program is adequately funded to maintain the high quality if service of previous
years; and
WHEREAS,
revenue from rates charged the participants’ families is integral
to the maintaining of adequate funding, now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said Town Board hereby sets the following
rates for the Town of Wallkill Summer Camp Program for the year 2003:
a. Town of Wallkill resident rate is set at $150.00 per participant per 3
week period
b. Town of Wallkill resident bus rate is set at $35.00 per participant per
3 week period
c. Non-resident rate is set at $220.00 per participant per 3 week period
d. Non-resident bus rate is set at $60.00 per participant per 3 week period

MOTION CARRIED.
WHEREAS, the Town Code of the Town of Wallkill Section 249-34 requires the
payment of parkland fees for all developments and subdivisions, other than
two-lot minor subdivisions at a certain rate per unit or lot; and
WHEREAS,
the owner of said proposed subdivided land subject to the aforementioned
fees,
whose principal domicile is located on said land, would be required to
pay a parkland fee on the owner’s already developed parcel; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Wallkill has determined that said fee
placed upon the post subdivision domicile parcel of an applicant for development
or subdivision of property, is unfair to that owner; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of Wallkill is empowered by the Staet to make changes
in the Zoning Code that it determines to be in the best interest of the public
welfare of its citizens; and
WHEREAS, said amendments to the zoning code are listed as Type I Actions under
Section 617.5 of the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA); and
WHEREAS, in compliance with SEQRA, the Wallkill Town Board wishes to assume
lead agency status and set a time and place for a public hearing for said proposed
local law, so that the public may be heard; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by the Town Board
with respect to the adoption of the aforesaid Local Law at 7:15 PM on April
10, 2003 at Wallkill Town Hall, 600 Route 211 East, Middletown, NY; and it
is further
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause public
notice of said hearing to be given as provided by law.

Town Board hereby increases the base salary of the position of Code Enforcement
Officer to $11.00 per hour, said increase to become effective for first pay
period following the date of the adoption of this resolution.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
COUNCILMAN
KING: Water & Sewer meeting; met with D. Depew and Ed. Smith
discussed the sewer capacity. 5-8 years left until full capacity; highway meeting-
E. Valentin, J. Lippert regarding bulk pickup- during discussion its unfortunate
but it may not happen- too costly
COUNCILMAN
VALENTIN: D. Depew, J. Lippert had golf meeting, added 9 hole fee after 5
PM. Sent survey to refuse haulers for proposals. No increase in summer
camp fees. Police meeting was cancelled due to the Chief’s loss of his
father. Condolences to the Chief and his family.
COUNCILMAN McLEAN: personnel contract- on going talks. Friday at 7 PM meeting
with Building Search committee; march 24th at 7 PM Human Rights Meeting

COUNCILMAN DEPEW: parks meeting will be next Monday at 7 PM; need bleachers
for Washington Heights Field; Sympathy to Chief Hertman; meeting in future
to discuss the parking ticket fees.
COUNCILMAN COMMENTS
COUNCILMAN KING: personnel meeting with April Shuback may not be able to discuss
in public. Spent a lot of time on budget preparation; discussed Ag District
Discount.
COUNCILMAN VALENTIN: No Comments
COUNCILMAN McLEAN: Emergency Management meeting at Galleria; battalion 1 meeting
march 24th, Bloomingburg Fire House. Human Rights resignations- B. Kraham,
C. Fleming. Volunteers are needed for Human Rights and the Ethics Committees.
COUNCILMAN
DEPEW: Wednesday, meeting held on Shawangunk Kill buffer Zone; a lot of information
available. Spoke with the Sheriff’s department regarding
clean up and help in the community on projects.
SUPERVISOR
WARD: thanks TOWVAC for helping with fire in Bloomingburg. Frank Lee is ill,
Frank Wall is ill. Best wishes to both for a speedy recovery. Little
league is looking for girls to play ball. Call 695-1260 – Rick; Brian
692-4325. Thanks to all who helped with the Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner.
Thanks to Mrs. King for soda bread. John Lippert attended FEMA meeting, town
will be reimbursed for 87% of cost for Christmas snow storm. Library District
seems to pay more than Middletown. Mentioned Chief of Police- loss of father
and he will be out the following week to make ready for the Chief’s exam.
Wishes his granddaughter Allison a happy 1st birthday.

20th at 7 PM the master Plan Review will be meeting and can the camera be used?
