The Town Board of the Town of Wallkill held a public hearing
at the Town Hall, 600 Route 211 East at 7:05 PM on Thursday,
May 22, 2003. Board members present were Supervisor Ward, Councilman
King, Councilman Valentin, Councilman McLean and Councilman Depew.
Also present were Spencer McLaughlin, Attorney for the Town,
Louisa Ingrassia, Deputy Town Clerk, Ed. Smith, Superintendent
of Water and Sewer and John Lippert, Commissioner of Public Works.
Ms. Ingrassia, Deputy Town Clerk: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a
public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of
Wallkill on May 22, 2003, at 7:05 PM at Wallkill Town Hall regarding
the adoption of a Local Law of the Town of Wallkill for the year
2003, which would amend Chapter 249 of the Town of Wallkill Code,
establishing maximum number of meetings allowed to be missed
by members of the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals
before action can be taken for removal.
Any resident of the Town of Wallkill is entitled to be heard
upon said proposed Local Law at such public hearing. Copies of
said proposed Local Law are available for review at Wallkill
Town Hall, 600 Route 211 East, Middletown, NY 10940.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the environmental significance

The Town of Wallkill will be considering projects to be submitted

COUNCILMAN KING: Twenty (20) acres for R-2 is ridiculous, most
of Scotchtown does not meet lot size
COUNCILMAN VALENTIN: R-2 in Scotchtown may cause problems with
neighbors. Needs to be three (3) acre lot. Can wording be changed?

the law.

Stop & Shop Supermarkets has been a supporter of the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation since 1996. Last year we successfully
raised $1,040,000. This year our goal is to raise $1,100,000.00.
One of the tools that we are utilizing is Commerford’s
Kids Funfair. The Funfair donates a portion of the proceeds to
benefit Stop & Shop’s Community Programs, which will
help fund our 2003 JDRF campaign. We would like the Kid’s
Funfair to play at our Middletown, NY store located at 310 Rte
211 East. The dates we are looking to hold the fair are: June
5, 6, 7 and 8. I have received approval from Art Hooper representative
from CE Wallkill 2002 LLC to allow the Kid’s Fair to be
