The Board of Assessment Review is appointed by the Town Board and trained and certified through the Office of Real Property. The Board meets on the fourth Tuesday of May each year for Grievance Day. All taxpayers wishing to grieve their property assessments may file a form, RP524, on or before that date and make an appointment to be heard or submit their grievance for review at a later work session. The Board of Review will then review all applications and send out their determinations on July 1st.
