The Conservation Commission works to preserve and improve the quality of the natural and man-made environment on behalf of the present and future inhabitants of the town.

The duties and powers of the commission include advising the Town Board and the Town Planning Board on issues of preservation and development, providing environment information to the public, educating the community, maintaining an inventory of open space, and conducting studies of the natural and man-made features of the town.

The commission meets once a month (the 2nd Monday) at the Town Hall at 7:30pm. The members of the commission can be reached by visiting the Conservation Commission Contact page.
