Operation
Safeguard Video
Members
of the Town of Wallkill Police Department in conjunction with
members of the New York State Police and Orange County Sherriffs
Office recently participated in the production of a video which
will be aired on local cable television stations as a public
service announcement for the "Operation Safeguard" anti-terrorism
initiative. The Operation Safeguard program is designed to
elicit the assistance of commuters in combating terrorism by
requesting
that if commuters see a suspicious package they report it.
